#kjv400 King James Bible, 400 Years Later
The year was 1611. It was a hallmark, or maybe a benchmark in the history of the those of the Christian faith. The release of an English (British) Bible - King James Bible preface
Here we are 400 years later.
YouVersion.com had a celebration yesterday where they set a new record (I think) by reading the Bible in 400 seconds.
I participated and was given a passage to read Genesis 31:28-55.
YouVersion wanted everyone to take pictures or shoot video of the reading, so I did.
I entrusted my son with the trusty FlipShare camcorder and we uploaded to YouTube after a minimum of editing.
Happy Birthday KJV!
Thank you Heavenly Father for making sure that we could have Your Word in a language that we could understand.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
1 Peter 1:25
