Due to circumstances and events, I got to do some visiting tonight. I was shocked by what I saw in the "church community".

I guess the Sunday Evening service is becoming a thing of the past. I hopped across town trying to find something going on and I was disappointed.

Due to offenses and accusations in church, I had to shut down my FaceBook account. I may have to turn it back on so I can find stuff since everybody is on FB but not necessarily doing websites anymore.

I'm just shocked at the state of affairs. I can't even get people to talk to me so I can attempt to apologize.  And these are "elders" in the church and the pastor! I would really like to try to make things right...

And, the more I type, the more words there are to be used against me behind closed doors and behind my back.

God puts me in mind of these:

Psalms 53:2-5 NLT-

"God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.

"But no, all have turned away; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one!

"Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn't think of praying to God.

"Terror will grip them, terror like they have never known before. God will scatter the bones of your enemies. You will put them to shame, for God has rejected them."

Eeks!

I don't hold this to anybody's charge; I'd really like to have an opportunity to try to make things right.

2 Timothy 4:16 NLT

"The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them."

Ah,

Philippians 2:13 NLT-

"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him."

3 And 4 Years, The Prophetic Meaning

2 Kings 19:29 NLT  Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Here is the proof that what I say is true: "This year you will eat only what grows up by itself, and next year you will eat what springs up from that. But in the third year you will plant crops and harvest them; you will tend vineyards and eat their fruit.

Isaiah 37:30 NLT  Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Here is the proof that what I say is true: "This year you will eat only what grows up by itself, and next year you will eat what springs up from that. But in the third year you will plant crops and harvest them; you will tend vineyards and eat their fruit.

Luke 13:6-9 NLT  Then Jesus told this story: "A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed.
  (7)  Finally, he said to his gardener, 'I've waited three years, and there hasn't been a single fig! Cut it down. It's just taking up space in the garden.'
  (8)  "The gardener answered, 'Sir, give it one more chance. Leave it another year, and I'll give it special attention and plenty of fertilizer.
  (9)  If we get figs next year, fine. If not, then you can cut it down.'"

This 3 and 4 year thing has me a little baffled. There's more to it at the prophetic level.

Spiritual Weapons

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV  (3)  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (4)  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Okay, so they aren't carnal. But what exactly are they?

Isaiah 37:28-29 KJV  But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.  (29)  Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Okay, there's two: a hook (for the nose) and a bridle (for the mouth).

Isaiah 41:15-16 ESV  Behold, I make of you a threshing sledge, new, sharp, and having teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and crush them, and you shall make the hills like chaff;  (16)  you shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the tempest shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the LORD; in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory.

A threshing sledge. This is like a cheese grater the size of a surfboard that you ride on as it is pulled by two animals. It appears this one will grind the "strong holds" of the greatest size into powder to be blown away by the wind.
